New Book (!): The Memory Sessions

Over a decade ago, I began writing a book, though I didn’t know it at first. When I transitioned from elementary school teacher to graduate student, I began writing short pieces that led me to wonder about my meager childhood memory, study the nature of memory, and try to find lost memory. Eventually, I wrote more and more and more, writing myself into a manuscript. My memoir without memory is experimental, unconventional, and reliant upon research, archives, imagination, and the memories of others. I’m filled up with joy and excitement, gratitude and blue sky, as I announce that Bucknell University Press will publish The Memory Sessions in August 2019.
